Bowdoin-Geneva Main Streets
Restaurante Cesaria
266 Bowdoin Street
Dorchester
617.282.1998
Brief description of business:
Restaurante Cesaria brings the island cuisine of Cape Verde, of Africa’s west coast, to New England. Seafood, live piano music, and a friendly staff draw a loyal crowd. We have tasty appetizers, great entrees, scrumptious desserts topped of by a memorable atmosphere.
As a small business owner, describe why it is important to you to have people shop local in Boston’s neighborhoods during the holiday season?
In light of the economy, it is a great time for loyal customers to support you. We also let our menu; wonderful music and ambience speak for themselves. We let our customers know that we can meet or beat what they get in the malls. The money needs to stay in the district by whatever means possible.
