0215 | President Ross moved to adopt the minutes from the December 8, 2010 meeting. Motion prevailed. Councilor Yancey asked that his letter of objection regarding the December 1, 2010 special meeting be read into the record which was not put in the minutes of December 8, 2010. The Assistant City Clerk read the December 8, 2010 letter of Councilor Yancey into the record and also was put in the December 8, 2010 minutes, and then the response from President Ross dated December 13, 2010 was read into the record. Councilor Arroyo, on behalf of the Committee on Labor and Youth Affairs, submitted the following: On the resolution, referred on February 3, 2010, Docket #0215, calling to hiring up to 300 street and youth workers, the Committee submitted a report recommending the resolution ought to pass in a new draft. The report was accepted; the resolution in a new draft was not adopted; yeas 3, (Arroyo, Pressley, Yancey) nays 9. |
