Purchase and Install GPS


The process for purchasing and installation of your GPS units is as follows:

  1. Fill out the appropriate paperwork for the number of tracking units that you will need (Trimble Application). Please print your full name at the top of this form.

  2. Fill out the Credit Application providing all information and co-signer information (if necessary)

  3. Fill out the shipping/billing form

  4. Submit all pages of the equipment contract form, credit application, and shipping form to:

  5. Follow up with a subsequent confirmation email to make sure the paperwork has been received.

  6. Once the application is processed and your unit(s) has been provisioned, activated and tested it will be shipped to you. Please allow 10 to 14 days for delivery. Please DO NOT open this package! The contents need to be kept intact and missing parts will only delay your installation and completion of this requirement.

  7. An installer will contact you with regards to the installation date/time.

  8. Logins and passwords will be provided via email for your account.

Proof of GPS

To prove GPS installation on vehicle, submit:

  • Copy of GPS Contract with Trimble
  • Vendor data sharing consent signature on application form

GPS Data Management

Sprint will provide data services for the GPS information. Vendors must allow the City access to their direct data feed. Vendors will work with Sprint to set up accounts. Vendors must submit a Sprint Application to begin this process.
