Announced by Mayor Menino in the summer of 2008, the Mid-Dorchester Action Plan is a joint planning initiative of the Department of Neighborhood Development (DND) and the Boston Redevelopment Authority (BRA), designed to coordinate the strategic disposition of public property located around the Dorchester neighborhoods of Four Corners, Bowdoin-Geneva, and Codman Square. The City of Boston currently owns as many as 270 vacant properties, totaling over 1.2 million square feet, in and around these particular areas. Read more »
