Consolidated Plan & Program Year 2013 Action Plan Hearings
DND is holding a final hearing (details above) seeking citizen input to develop a new Consolidated Plan that outlines Boston's housing and community development needs and priorities for the 5-year period of 7/1/13 to 6/30/18. The Consolidated Plan will be submitted to the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and is a requirement to apply for HUD funds.
HUD also requires that Boston submit an annual Action Plan indicating how the City plans to use the federal funds that it will receive from HUD to address the priority needs identified in the Consolidated Plan. The Program Year 2013 Action Plan covers the period 7/1/13 to 6/30/14 for four grant programs: Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA)

5-Year Consolidated Plan and Action Plan 2013 Program Year: The City of Boston encourages comments and suggestions for consideration for the Plans and may be submitted at any time during the process. Written comments may be submitted to: Policy Development & Research Division, Department of Neighborhood Development, 26 Court St., 8th floor, Boston, MA 02108 or by email to: actionplan.dnd@cityofboston.gov
DRAFT 5-Year Consolidated Plan: July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2018 will be posted shortly for a 30-day comment period. DRAFT Strategic Plan (Part 2 of the Consolidated Plan) Posted May 23rd.
DRAFT Action Plan Program Year 2013: July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014 posted May 10th. 30-Day comment period through June 10th.
